Ichikawa Reveals New Teaser for Tower of God Season 2 at IGN Fan Fest

The Tower of God is considered a masterpiece in the manhwa world. It’s a long-running series with multiple twists bound to grab your attention.

The series first received an anime adaptation in 2020, and there was an instant boost in its popularity. The series finale left fans with a cliffhanger, and the anticipation for the sequel grew stronger.

After four years, a sequel was greenlit in 2023, and the staff members are back with more information.

Tower of God anime received a new teaser video for its second season at the IGN Fan Fest. The second season of Tower of God will debut in July 2024, and Crunchyroll confirmed it will stream the show.

Voice actor Taichi Ichikawa(Bam) presented the video, talked about how it had been four years since the first season, and thanked the fans for their patience.

He briefly introduces the plot and announces that the second season will premiere in July 2024. In the finale of the first season, Bam finally reunites with his beloved Rachel, but she pushes him into the water in the shocking conclusion.

The season will begin with the Return of the Prince arc, which will take place after a 6-year time skip. Ichikawa introduces Jyu Viole Grace, who seems to be the key character for the season.

Ichikawa will be voicing Jyu Viole Grace in season 2. The teaser features the various enemies and allies surrounding Ja Wangnan and Jyu Viole Grace and the multiple tribulations they have to pass in the tower.

This season is especially intriguing because it completely shifts the story’s perspective. It will help us understand the reason behind Rachel’s actions. The animation quality has significantly improved, and season 2 is bound to be a great watch.

About Tower of God

Tower of God is a South Korean web-toon written and drawn by Lee Jong-hui, also known by the pen-name SIU.

The story revolves around a boy named Baam. Baam only has one person that he loves and cares about, and that is his friend Rachel.

When Rachel goes into the Tower, Baam follows her. Rachel vanishes, and thus Baam starts his journey to get her back.
