Tower of God Anime Reveals Opening Theme Song & Cast Updates

Recently, at Seoul comic-con, Yonkou production revealed that the Tower of God is set to receive an anime adaptation.

Tower of God is set to kick off on Crunchyroll on April 1, 2020, as part of Crunchyroll Originals.

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Tower of God revealed on Wednesday that Korean band Stray Kids are performing the opening theme song “TOP-Japanese ver.-.”.

The main cast includes:

  • Director – Takashi Sano
  • Assistant director – Hirokazu Hanai
  • Character design – Masashi Kudo and Miho Tanino
  • Story composition – Erika Yoshida
  • Music – Kevin Penkin
  • Voice cast – Taichi Ichikawa as Bam, Saori Hayami as Rachel and Hochu Otsuka as Headon

The Tower of God is based on a Webtoon comic written and drawn by SIU. Naver Webtoon and Rialto Entertainment are jointly producing this anime series. 

The official description of Tower of God reads as such:

” Tower of God centers around a boy called Twenty-Fifth Bam, who has spent most of his life trapped beneath a vast and mysterious Tower, with only his close friend, Rachel, to keep him company.

When Rachel enters the Tower, Bam manages to open the door into it as well, and faces challenges at each floor of this tower as he tries to find his closest companion. “

About Tower of God

Tower of God is a South Korean webtoon written and drawn by Lee Jong-hui, also known by the pen-name SIU.

The story revolves around a boy named Bam. Bam only has one person that he loves and cares about, and that is his friend Rachel. When Rachel goes into the tower, Bam follows her. Rachel vanishes, and thus Bam starts his journey to get her back.
