However, Misuzu asserts that because she lacks femininity, she has appropriately portrayed herself as a boy. Then Tomo tries to change her communication with Kubota, but they fight and later sort it out. Later, Kubota and Misuzu realize they’ve both forgotten their umbrellas and are waiting for Tomo to take them home.

After Misuzu sneers that Tomo might get a boyfriend, Kubota smacks her fiercely into the rain before leaving with her at Misuzu’s suggestion. Tomo runs away to save her from becoming wet when Kubota gets too close, and he does the same when he catches up to her and unintentionally notices her wet clothes.

Kosuke Misaki, the club captain, is very impressed that Tomo attends the boys’ karate club. When Kosuke responds that she is charming just the way she is after she inquires about what feminine qualities he believes she may improve upon, Tomo is delighted.

Later, Kosuke is seen with Tomo when two girls, Mifune and Ogawa, try to approach him after school. They summon Tomo to her classroom, but she interprets this as a fight-or-flight challenge.

When Mifune and Ogawa discover Tomo’s extraordinary power, they are scared to meet her. Misuzu says the girls merely want to talk to her and tells Tomo there are other ways to confront people besides using fists.

The two tell Tomo that they like Kosuke when they first meet behind the gym. Then, a delighted Tomo pledges to assist them, feeling girlie for being able to counsel other females on finding true love.
