The Quintessential Quintuplets Gets a New Original Honeymoon Anime Film

Negi Haruba’s The Quintessential Quintuplets manga has concluded, but the journey is far from over. A new original movie, set to be released after the anime’s finale, has fans on the edge of their seats.

On The Quintessential Quintuplets‘ fifth anniversary, the new animation movie’s production was announced. The movie is going to be an original story under Negi Haruba’s supervision, featuring the story of Fuutarou and the Nakano sisters’ honeymoon.

Not just The Quintessential Quintuplets film but multiple other side projects were announced at the fifth-anniversary anime celebrations in Yokohama.

A new light novel is also in the making, following the daily lives of the Nakano Quintuplets. The creator of Mayo Chiki! Hajime Asano is the writer of the light novel, under Haruba’s supervision.

The release date, staff cast, or format of The Quintessential Quintuplets film has yet to be officially announced, so we will have to wait for further updates from the production team.

About The Quintessential Quintuplets

The Quintessential Quintuplets is a manga created by Negi Haruba in 2017. The manga ended in February 2020 with a total of 14 volumes.

The manga has inspired an anime adaptation titled “The Quintessential Quintuplets” with Season 1 aired in 2019 and Season 2 aired in 2021.

The story revolves around Futaro, a high school student from a low-income family, who receives an appealing offer to work part-time as a tutor…but his students turn out to be girls from his class!

What’s more, they are beautiful quintuplets but happen to be problem students who have poor grades and hate studying!

His first assignment is to win all the sisters’ trust in this rom-com surrounding the five sisters of the Nakano Family.
