The Legend of Korra Available on Netflix US from August 14

Avatar The Last Airbender climbed to Netflix’s Top 10 in its first week of airing in May, and fans want to know where and when they can watch its sequel, The Legend of Korra.

After its success on the platform, everyone had the same question “Is it on Netflix or not?” “Is it available in the US, and where?”

Fans of the franchise are eager to know what happens to its universe 70 years after Aang and his friends save the world by foiling Fire Nation’s plans to take over the world.

NX on Netflix’s official Twitter account announced on July 21 that The Legend of Korra would be available on Netflix US from August 14.

The tweet announcing the show’s arrival on Netflix featured a gif showing a little Korra making an entrance and announcing her Avatar status.

The Legend of Korra is packed with intense fight scenes, inspiring stories, and coverage of crucial socio-political issues.

A combination of all these elements made it the most-watched anime series on many channels and streaming services on which it was featured.

The highly successful sequel to Avatar The series is currently available on Amazon Prime as well.

It has been in demand on Netflix ever since its prequel The Last Airbender became available on the OTT platform.

About The Legend of Korra

The Legend of Korra is the sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender. The series premiered on Nickelodeon on April 14, 2012, and ran for fifty-two episodes, concluding on December 19, 2014.

The series picks up seventy years after the end of the Avatar: The Last Airbender in a brand new setting with new characters.

The story revolves around Korra, the Avatar after Aang, a hot-headed and rebellious young woman from the Southern Water Tribe. It follows Korra throughout four chapters as she faces the difficult challenges, duties, and responsibilities that come with being the Avatar.
