Korean manhwa or webtoons are rising in popularity and have captured the anime spotlight. After SIU’s Tower of God, Yongje Park’s God of High School is set for its anime debut. Talks of the anime production surfaced in February, and now it’s finally ready for release.
The official website of Crunchyroll Originals released the final trailer of the anime series. The trailer was also released on Crunchyroll’s Youtube channel on June 16.
The trailer introduces the main characters and gives us a glimpse into their nature and motives. While some contestants can’t afford to lose, the sole purpose of others is to become the strongest person and acquire powers.
The contest allows different fighting styles and sword martial arts. Everyone has their own winning strategy to reach their goal.
The anime will premiere on July 6. The trailer features the opening and ending themes of the anime. The opening theme song of the anime is “Contradiction feat. Tyler Carte,” performed by KSUKE. The ending theme, “WIN,” is performed by the band CIX.

A new visual for the anime has been revealed.
It portrays the main characters of GOH, using different powers like fire, water and others.
Sunghoo Park is directing the anime series under MAPPA studios. The character design is by Manabu Akita. Kiyoko Yoshimura and Arisa Okehazama are in charge of series composition and music composition, respectively.
