We are quite excited as this new wave of Korean manhwa is entering the anime scenario. Popular webtoon “Tower of God” has already been adapted into an anime, and production is underway for “Noblesse” anime. Adding to these, The God of High School is coming out as an anime soon.
The God Of High School is a South Korean webtoon authored and illustrated by Park Yongje. Crunchyroll released the official teaser in April this year. The anime will be a Crunchyroll original series and will be released in July 2020.
Meanwhile, Crunchyroll has just dropped the official teaser trailer for upcoming anime, and fans are going gaga over it. The one-minute clip was posted on the official Twitter account of The God Of High School.
The teaser trailer seems to have captivated fans with some mind-blowing action sequences. The energetic music in the background keeps us excited and also perfectly accompanies the visuals.
The latest preview was followed by some character profiles showing the fighting style, HP, and power levels of some main characters.
The anime was first announced in February 2020, with MAPPA being the animation studio. Park Sunghoo is the director and the scriptwriter is Kiyoko Yoshimura. Arisa Okehazama is in charge of music composition and the character designer is Akita Manabu.
