The Executioner and Her Way of Life is an unexpected isekai tale where the story introduces an isekai’d boy who gets murdered almost immediately. It is only afterward that we realize the protagonist is his murderer, Menou.
As an executioner, her job is to kill the ones who have strayed from their world, but what if she meets someone who is virtually impossible to kill?
This new gentle-hearted stray tags along with Menou like a clueless puppy and slowly starts changing her life.
This quirky isekai tale, The Executioner and Her Way of Life or Virgin Road will receive an anime adaptation in spring 2022.
A new trailer has been revealed, which showcases the unexpected journey of Menou and Akari, the two protagonists.
The trailer starts by showing us Menou’s first attempt at executing Akari. This was when she realized that the “Lost One’s” power is actually time manipulation.
Menou needs to kill her quickly before her powers get out of control and destroy the whole continent.
Akari forgets the moment when Menou strikes her and thus has no issue trusting her enemy. As both of them try to find their own answers, Menou will slowly start to change.
A new visual has also been revealed which shows all the main characters of the upcoming anime:

The Executioner and Her Way of Life by Maho Sato and Nilitsu is a light novel series that will receive an anime adaptation in 2022.
The plot focuses on Menou, an executioner who is in charge of killing all those who get isekai’d into her world. These people are called ‘strays’ of ‘lost ones’ and are often responsible for huge calamities.
Thus, when Akari arrived, Menou was tasked with killing her. The only problem is that Akari’s ability makes her almost impossible to kill. As both of them spend time together, a new relationship blossoms between them.
