The Duke of Death and His Maid Manga Compared to Anime

The Duke Of Death and His Maid manga has a total of 13 volumes, and is ongoing. The first season of the anime did skip several scenes from the manga.

Most of the skipped elements were comic moments or short slice-of-life stories that weren’t necessary to advance its storyline. The first season used a total of 67 chapters and found its stopping point at volume 5.

Studio JC Staff has more than enough source material to make The Duke of Death And His Maid season 2. They can use the content from the remaining eight volumes to create the anime’s sequel.

The upcoming season will once again focus on the Duke and Alice figuring out a plan for breaking the curse, but they will have many adventures along the way.

Walter will plan to seduce the Duke and then spread fake rumors so that the Duke will give up his rightful inheritance as the first son.
