Dead Leaves is an anime science fiction film, written and illustrated by Imai Toonz, produced by Manga Entertainment and Production I.G and directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi. Dead Leaves follows Pandy and Retro when they wake in the middle of nowhere with no memories of their past. Naturally, they soon get involved in a violent collection of clothing and food as if it was the normal thing to do. They quickly captured and sent to a bizarre jail located on the moon. During their sentence, they discover that the prison, named Dead Leaves, was also a top-secret cloning facility belonging to villains. Due to experiments gone wrong, there are many genetically deformed inmates under torture. With the help of other inmates, Pandy and Retro plan an explosive prison break, shaking up the facility to its core.
