Rimuru asks Hinata about the guy who used her to kill him, to which Hinata replies that she doesn’t know the name of the merchant from the eastern empire. The merchant told Hinata that Rimuru had killed Shizu, and that was why Hinata came after Rimuru to take her revenge.
The attack of Hinata towards Rimuru and the invasion were done simultaneously, which indicates that someone is pulling the strings. The person who would be capable of doing something this big could have been someone among the Seven Luminaries.
Luminous, who is now a little agitated because of this speculation, says that now they are just speaking nonsense. The rituals that Luminas used to do among her people grew longer and longer, which were weekly as, because of her eternal life, she tends to forget about them.
