Three anime seasons have passed by, and Nishikata has not scored a single win over Takagi yet. Will he finally get a chance to redeem himself in the upcoming anime film Teasing Master Takagi-san?
The two protagonists’ neverending cat and mouse chase make up 80% of the plot. The rest depends on the cute lovey-dovey feeling that is blossoming between them.
I hope the new movie will finally show some progress in their relationship.
The new animated movie of Teasing Master Takagi-san will premiere on June 10, 2022. A brand new visual is out, with the tagline “The second year of middle school, a summer that will never happen again….”
You can see Takagi and Nishikata standing on top of a hill while facing lush green scenery ahead of them. This visual truly encapsulates summer’s joy and is very suitable for the movie’s release date.
It looks like Takagi and Nishikata will go on a school trip together during their summer break. It is hard to guess the actual plot since the anime does not follow a chronological adaptation order.
Check out this cute teaser in which Takagi whispers to Nishikata, and he doesn’t understand what she means. You can’t blame the boy, he is so used to getting teased that he can’t process flirting anymore.
Will this summer vacation finally allow Takagi to confess her feelings? Nishikata is clearly too dumb to pick up hints anyways.

Teasing Master Takagi-san is a manga series written and illustrated by Sōichirō Yamamoto. It has been serialized in Shogakukan’ Monthly Shōnen Sunday Mini and then in Monthly Shōnen Sunday since 2013.
The series follows the daily life of Takagi, who loves to tease her classmate Nishikata, and Nishikata’s failed attempts to get back at her. Each time Nishikata fails he vows to come up with new plans but Takagi often identifies his weakness and capitalizes on them.
