365 Days to the Wedding: Another Work by Wakaki Gets Anime Adaptation

A few months ago, Tamiki Wakaki’s 16bit Sensation was announced for an anime adaptation. The anime would feature an original story under the title 16bit Sensation: Another Layer. Now that we are waiting for it, another work by Wakaki has been announced for anime.

On Tuesday, the official Twitter account for the Kashiwa branch of the Cybex café chain posted a photo of the tenth volume of 365 Days to the Wedding (Kekkon Surutte, Hontō Desu ka?).

The wraparound jacket of the compiled book reveals that the manga will get an anime adaptation.

Before the announcement of the anime, 365 Days to the Wedding was adapted for a live-action drama in October 2022. The 10th volume arrives in stores on Wednesday.

Tamiki Wakaki is most famous for his work The World God Only Knows, which ran from 2008 to 2014 and also inspired an anime series.

Although the story has its dull moments because there is nothing that stands out, some people might find it cute and romantic. Two coworkers who do not know each other and faking a relationship to avoid transfer sounds like an old movie plot to me.
