The Tale of the Outcasts Anime Will Cover Entire Story From The Manga! 

Just a few days ago, Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry magazine announced a new Tale of the Outcasts series, titled “The Flame Knight”. An anime based on the original manga is about to arrive, and a recent announcement will make things more exciting for those waiting for its premiere. 

On Wednesday, the Sunday Webry website revealed that the anime will cover the entire main story of “The Tale of the Outcasts”. This is welcome news for anyone who cannot wait for new seasons every year.

The anime will premiere on January 8 on Tokyo MX, YTV, and BS Fuji channels. Crunchyroll will stream the series.

Ashi Productions is producing the series, with Yatsuka Yamamoto as the director and Kenichi Yamashita writing the scripts. Hiroaki Tsutsumi and Kana Hashiguchi are composing the music. 

Makoto Hoshino’s original “The Tale of the Outcasts” manga series was launched in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in August 2019. The manga ended its run in April 2021. The new series – The Tale of the Outcasts: The Flame Knight, will also be launched on January 8. 

About The Tale of the Outcasts

The Tale of the Outcasts is a historical and fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Makoto Hoshino. It was serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shōnen Sunday from August 2019 to April 2021. An anime television series adaptation by Ashi Productions will premiere in January 2023.

The story follows a lonely orphan girl Wisteria and a demon Malbus who find comfort in each other and set on a journey to find a peaceful haven to live in.
