The first two episodes of the new Isekai series, Sweet Reincarnation, set the stage for the protagonist, Pastry, nicknamed Pas, to embark on his new voyage in the world he has just been reincarnated in.
Despite being reincarnated in the new domain of sword and sorcery as a Young Lord, the brilliant patisserie retains his old skills and knowledge. Here are the latest updates.
1. Episode 3 Speculation
Sweet Reincarnation episode 2, titled Apple Pie and Smiles, will be about Pas demonstrating his pâtissier skills by baking an apple pie, as the title suggests. Helm will be incarcerated as a prisoner for his crimes when the Mortelns and the townspeople successfully defend their town. New talents will emerge for Pas.

Episode 3 of the Sweet Reincarnation anime has been released on Monday, Jul 10, 2023. The episode title or preview has not been shown.

3. Episode 2 Recap
After discovering that it had fallen victim to Helm and his bandits, Lord Morteln decided to round up allies and peasants to protect Liptaver. Conversely, Pas was partially on board with the decision because non-combatant villagers could be killed.
Pas urged Marc and Lumi to utilize their stone-throwing abilities to assist in repelling the looters from a distance. Morteln inspired the locals to stand against the bandits as they advanced on the town. Morteln and Beatwin set out to make a surprise attack on Helm and his band of looters.
Later, the couple purposefully led the bandits to the town, where Pas and the other villagers were waiting for them with stones and fire arrows. Helm made his way to town and began attacking the inhabitants. Helm warned Morteln and Beatwin not to make a move after seizing Pas.
Pas used his newly discovered magical abilities to mimic the suffering felt by the wounded bandits onto all of them, including Helm.
4. About Sweet Reincarnation
Sweet Reincarnation is a light novel series written by Nozomu Koryu. It was originally launched in February 2015 on the Shōsetsu ni Narō website.
The novels are about a nine-year-old named Pastry Mille Morteln who is the reincarnation of an unfulfilled pastry chef. Although he wants to spend all day baking and making sweet treats and pies, he is forced to learn how to fight and protect his village from bandits.
He is the heir to his father’s fortune and is expected to follow in his footsteps even if he does not wish to.
The anime adaptation of the series will premiere in July 2023.
