Anya got a new friend in episode 13 of Spy x Family, titled “Project Apple.”

Spy x Family is back with a bang. It was a great start, as we got a lot of Anya in this episode. The OP was beautiful, and the visuals were stunning. They put a lot of effort into the opening itself. We got some Anya faces and the beloved ‘waku waku’ as well. The episode ticked every box.

The white dog is so cute, I just wish it was real. He has some special ability and can see something that happens in the immediate future. Loid gets busy with a new mission as the life of the foreign minister is in danger.

Episode 14 Speculations

Anya and the white dog will help Loid in episode 14 of Spy x Family, “Disarm the Time Bomb.”

We have a new family member now, and just like the three humans, even the dog is not normal. He holds secret power, and this secret power will help the family a lot in the future.

The mission will get a lot more serious and dangerous in the next episode. Loid’s life might be in danger because of the bombs. Yor has come to Anya’s rescue, and now she will help Anya accomplish her mission.

Don’t worry, Loid! Anya is coming to your rescue.

Episode 13 Recap

Some local goons are carrying away a lot of dogs trapped in a cage. Foreign minister Brantz of Westalis arrived at the Berlint airport the previous day. Anya is relentless and excited today as they go out to buy a dog.

She wanted a dog as a gift for the Stella star she earned. The pet shop they go to is a place Loid knows about. Anya hates the dogs in there, but Loid receives a new order and has to leave. Anya helps him with his escape.

He is being taken to the headquarters as it is an emergency meeting. The foreign minister’s life is in danger. A bunch of students from Berlint University is planning to assassinate him that night itself. The agents have caught hold of one of them, but he is not telling them anything.

Sylvia tells him they have got hold of the leader. The leader puts all the blame on the guy caught earlier. Getting betrayed, he agrees to tell them everything. Turns out the leader was actually Loid. The students are planning to assassinate the minister with bomb dogs. 

Anya and Yor go to an adoption event. Anya is excited to see all types of cute animals. While searching for a pet, her eyes fall on a big white dog outside the event. She sees her family in the dog’s mind.

She gets curious and runs out towards him. She enters the building where the dog was taken to and finds the white dog. She hears the bad people talking about blowing up the foreign minister.

One of the bad guys catches her, and the leader decides to kill her. The white dog frees himself and comes to her rescue but gets scared by the bad people. Yor gets worried and relentless when she is not able to find her.

Loid knows that the terrorists are using the dogs used in Project Apple. A project where they experimented on animals for military purposes. The terrorists receive a call about their hideouts getting raided, and they panic, giving time to Anya and the dog to run away.

Anya realizes that the dog can see the future. They try to run away, but the dog gets lost, and the terrorists catch them. They are about to kill Anya when Yor shows up, kicking one of the guys hard enough for him to bounce around.

She refuses to let them marry Anya (she thinks they kidnapped her to marry her).

Spy × Family is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump.

The story follows a spy who has to “build a family” to execute a mission, not realizing that the girl he adopts as a daughter and the woman he agrees to be in a fake marriage with are a mind reader and an assassin respectively.

Season 2 and a theatrical film are releasing in 2023.
