Tensions are running high as the SSS gets the situation under their command in chapter 73 of Spy x Family. Billy’s backstory is revealed, and Yuri and the other SSS members are successful in taking out the perpetrators guarding the second bus and rescuing all the hostages.

Chapter 74 Speculation
Anya has a plan to deter the grave situation, and she will try to negotiate with the kidnappers in MISSION 74 of Spy x Family. As she knows about Billy’s past, she will try to use her quick thinking in some way to try to appeal to him and prevent them from blowing up the bus.
Billy doesn’t know of Vadim’s plan and once he realizes it, there will definitely be arguments between them as he never wanted to kill the kids, knowing he had a daughter himself. The situation is dire as the SSS regiment is approaching, but hopefully, Anya will have a good enough plan to help everyone out of the situation.

Recap of Chapter 73
A flashback reveals Billy Squire confronting her daughter, Biddy, about her frequent visits to the red circus demonstrations. Biddy reassures her father that there is nothing shady about the red circus. However, knowing about the frequent student arrests and how the government clamps down on protests, Billy is worried and fearful for her daughter’s life.
Biddy declares proudly that she is not afraid to die for what she knows is right and will continue to protest against the government’s negligence. A cut to the future shows a dead Biddy, with Billy standing distraught in front of her lifeless body. Someone from the red circus tries to reassure him and tell him they can help him get out of the country, but he cannot hear anything.
As Billy remembers his past while looking at the sleeping students, Anya reads his mind. Vadim is irritated by just waiting and Billy tells him to get moving with the second bus. Vadim tells him they are avoiding contact with them so they don’t give away their location as well, unaware that the SSS is already on the scene.
Near the location of the second bus, Yuri and the other SSS agents lie in wait, with their tear gas ready, to take out the kidnappers. As soon as the agents on the lookout get a vision on all the kidnappers, they are ordered to move out. The kidnappers try to use the kids as a shield but are taken out fast.
Yuri punches the leader of the group but is shot in the shoulder. The kidnappers fall down and the SSS is able to confirm the safety of the hostages.
Yuri cries in pain as the other agents give him first aid and he screams while blaming Anya for his suffering.
The SSS captain is notified about the rescue. The Berlint police commander gets off a call and begrudgingly tells him that they have been told to transfer command to them. The captain assures him they will resolve everything shortly though his resolution is anything but peaceful.
He uses a speaker to tell Billy and the other red circus members on the bus that all their comrades from the other bus are dead and that if they don’t want to suffer the same fate, they will surrender. They have until dawn.
Vadim bursts out in anger while Billy defeatedly says they have failed. Vadim and his other partner tell Billy they cannot give up so soon. Billy thinks of using his last resort if the situation becomes worse i.e. blowing up the bus and all the hostages with it. He decides to blast the bomb when the strike force comes charging in.
Anya has already read his mind and is shocked. She then suddenly hears the SSS guards coming to kill the kidnappers. The SSS captain ordered to strike at night and told the regiment to keep casualties at a minimum.
Anya now begins to panic as she realizes that if the kidnappers come to know about the approaching secret police agents, they will blow up the bus. She makes up her mind, looks up with a determined face, and faces Billy and the other kidnappers.
