Spy x Family does not follow a particular story pattern; however, it revolves around a few central aspects. Let’s point out the topics that could be touched in the next chapter.

• Loid could get another mission that might hinder the balance between family and work, but World Peace comes first!
• We could see more of Yor Forger as she struggles with her gruesome job of assassination and the delicate role of a fake mother.
• Mission 31 could very well be another mission for our little spy/telepath, Anya Forger. She might try to get close to Damian and earn Stella stars.
• We could get information about Twilight’s upcoming operation with Nightfall. Since Nightfall has ulterior motives, she might try to woo Twilight during the mission, endangering their lives.

The chapter starts with the introduction of Fiona Frost( Agent Nightfall ), an associate of Twilight, who has been assigned to perform a join operation with him. She suggests that she should be the one taking over the role of Twilight’s wife as she is far more skilled than his current wife could be.

Nightfall goes to visit Twilight’s residence after he went out on a walk with Anya and Bond. Behind his back, she introduces herself as Loid’s associate at the hospital.

After being invited in, she tries to convince Yor that the responsibilities she has are something she can abandon. This is when we find out that Nightfall is actually in love with Twilight, and wants to take over the role of his wife by any means necessary.

Twilight comes back in the middle of their conversation, and the two spies have two conversations – one by speaking and one by lipsing. Anya figures out that Nightfall is also a spy, and instantly falls in love with her. However, she changes her mind quickly as finds out that Nightfall plans to strictly educate her using whips and schedules.

Anya expresses love towards Yor in an attempt to show Nightfall that she has no place in this house. This starts an emotional conversation between Yor and Loid about how she wants to be a better wife, and how Loid thinks that she already is.

The chapter ends with Twilight walking Nightfall to the train station, during which he sees her crying about this whole situation. Looks like Nightfall’s plan to take over Yor’s role is going to take effect after their joint operation.

Spy × Family is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump.

The story follows a spy who has to “build a family” to execute a mission, not realizing that the girl he adopts as a daughter and the woman he agrees to be in a fake marriage with are a mind reader and an assassin respectively.
