In episode 11, titled ‘The Young Man and the Sea,’ Rajdhani returned from voyaging the ocean and found out about Nozomi’s death.
It didn’t come as a shock for him when Nagara and Mizuho revealed it, as his beliefs about death and the universe have changed.
Rajdhani shared some confusing yet interesting stories from his 2000 years long journey around different dimensions and revealed that he does not wish to go back.
At the end of the episode, Mizuho and Nagara take off in the spaceship they had been working on for a long time that was apparently designed to take them back to the original world.

Episode 12 Preview & Speculation
The montage of Nagara and Mizuho preparing Nozomi’s memorial was so disheartening to watch.
Not to forget, after the big drama last week, they tried their hardest to provide her the best funeral, which shows how much they’ve matured since the big drift.
In one of the previous episodes, where the students returned to the original world for a while and found their alternate selves, Nozomi discovered that she was dead. No one would have guessed that it’s going to happen for real.
The thing to notice here is how the two dimensions are parallel to each other. Moreover, Rajdhani also revealed that by the time Nagara and Mizuho reach there, the timeline would be two years ahead, further confirming the above theory.
Famous for its complexity, the Sonny Boy anime is finally coming to an end next week. I’m curious about how the show would wrap things up next week, though I do expect a confusing ending.

Episode 11 Recap
Mizuho finds an old box in the trash. She meets Nagara, and the two start to set up a tent for the farewell party to mourn Nozomi’s passing away. Although Mizuho invites everyone, no one shows up.
After the ceremony, she locks the box with Nozomi’s picture in it and immerses it in the ocean. The following day, they meet Rajdhani at the beach who came after voyaging the ocean.
Rajdhani reveals that he is not going to come with them as moving around the ocean for 2000 years has changed his views and beliefs. Mizuho asks him if he ever felt homesick. Rajdhani responds that when he stopped by a world similar to their home, he felt uneasy.
After experiencing things in that world, he realized that death is complicated here. Later, Nagara reveals to Rajdhani that they learnt about Nozomi’s death after Mizuho’s cats brought a compass, which they believe tells Nozomi’s status.
Rajdhani shares with Nagara the story of a boy he met who was trying to produce death in this static world. Rajdhani called him an inventor of death as he was utterly atrocious while performing different methods to murder people around him.
Rajdhani believes that death in this world is similar to the one in their original world, trying to make Nagara believe that Nozomi is dead. Nagara tells Rajdhani that he asked everyone but only Mizuho, Nozomi, and he agreed on going back.
He remembers how enthusiastic Nozomi looked when she talked about things she wanted to do after returning. Nagara starts crying, recalling the moments he shared with Nozomi.
It is then revealed that Rajdhani has been helping Nagara and Mizuho build a spaceship that will likely help them get back to their own world. Nagara and Mizuho take off in the spaceship at the end of the episode.
