Minato Namikaze Arrives in the Upcoming Naruto to Boruto Season Pass!

Just recently, we got the results of Narutop 99 character polls and Minato Namikaze won the top spot. The author’s news of creating a short manga based on Minato was also a great surprise that we will wait for.

Now this seems to be coincidental, although unlikely, that the Yellow Flash will appear in the Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker game.

On Friday, the official website for the Naruto franchise revealed that the game will introduce Minato Namikaze (Reanimation form). It was also confirmed in the latest V-Jump issue. This will be the 34th character introduced as downloadable content.

Minato Namikaze is the first out of the three characters that will be introduced in the sixth season pass for the 2018 game. They will arrive in spring to summer.

Setting Minato as a master will help unlock costumes for your original ninja and Defense-type ninjutsu from your collected Training Points. The costumes include Minato’s Outfit Genin version (Unisex) and a Kushina hair skin.

The three ninjutsu that you will learn include Celestial Air Slice: Type-Zero, Flying Raijin: Guiding Thunder, and the secret technique Flying Raijin: Jiku Shippu Senko Rennodan Zeroshiki.

A seventh season pass has also been announced that will introduce three more characters from fall to winter. Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is available on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Doesn’t 2023 feel like the year for Minato already? I am now suspecting that either the new upcoming Naruto episodes will show Minato or an anime film might be announced in advance for the short manga. The latter would be so cool!
