Shoot! Goal to the Future Ep 10: Release Date, Speculations, Watch Online

Episode 9 of Shoot! Goal to the Future was a flamboyant one. Everyone in this anime seems to be homosexual, and at this point, it’s almost concerning. The animation effects compensate for the lack of spice in the storyline.

This is the kind of show this is, and it isn’t the one to be blamed. It’s directed to a particular audience and does an excellent job as the first season ends. It’s relieving to see all the characters coming out of the closet. We don’t have to live in doubt forever now.

Episode 10 Speculations

This episode can be predicted as a drama where everyone will try to mend things between Jo, Tsuji, and Subaru. The coach and the others might also be asking Tsuji not to leave the team and convince him otherwise.

Not looking much forward to this episode, but who knows what the writers might have in store for us.

Episode 9 Recap

The episode begins with Subaru recalling his dark past when he was bullied. That’s when he met Jo, and they’ve been friends ever since. The newspaper club guy named Kishiya follows Tsuji to interview him, but he keeps running from him.

Tsuji finds Jo and Subaru and tags them, so they are stuck with Kashiya. He goes on to list how Kakegawa won various matches in the tournament.

Kashiya asks Jo about the things Tsuji would say only to his teammate. Subaru doesn’t feel good when Jo talks about Tsuji. Tsuji says he avoided Kishiya because they were in the same middle school.

Jo also tells how Subaru “Saved” him in elementary school. Subaru says that Jo taught him to soccer and thanks him for that.

As Jo talks about Tsuji being his partner, Subaru looks visibly disturbed. The next day, Subaru skips school because he has a stomach problem.

In front of their class were news headlines in which Tsuji was portrayed very positively. The others started gossiping, which made Tsuji furious, and he ran from there.

In the end, they confront Kashiya, who then apologizes for writing such an article without Tsuji’s consent. Subaru says Tsuji is using him and Jo out of jealousy. Jo tries to explain to him, but they start quarreling, and, in the end, Tsuji decides to quit the team. This came as a shock to Subaru and Jo.

Shoot! Goal to the Future is a sequel anime series of the 1990 Shoot! series by Tsukasa Ōshima. Noriyuki Nakamura is directing the series at EMT Squared with Mitsutaka Hirota writing the scripts, and Yukiko Akiyama designing the characters.

It follows the next generation of Kakegawa High’s legendary soccer club with Atsushi Kamiya as their coach. The story revolves around the protagonist Hideto Tsuji and the new team giving rise to another epic saga.
