Second PV For Doga Kobo’s ‘Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night’ Revealed

Doga Kobo’s ‘Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night’ is an original anime work that will also celebrate 50 years of the studio’s existence. The project was announced in March and some details were shared, including a visual featuring one of the characters.

On Friday, the official website for ‘Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night’ revealed a second trailer and a new visual. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2024.

Just like the first teaser, this video also features live-action footage. However, unlike showing the busy streets of Shibuya, it features a pianist whose face is never disclosed. The new visual is displayed at the end.

You can notice the blonde character on the left that was revealed in the first visual. This time, the dark-haired girl is revealed in the front. Note that there is one more character (the pink-haired one) that is yet to be revealed.

Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night (Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai) is an original upcoming anime television series produced by Doga Kobo and created by JELEE.

The story of Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night follows a girl who spends her nights wandering Shibuya, a place “overflowing with identity.” Unable to become anyone, the girl’s life changes following a special encounter.
