Sakamoto Days is finally back with its latest installment of the anime, and things are looking a bit lukewarm after the completion of the Lab arc. Shin and Sakamoto seem to be burnt out after working really hard for a while, so in the latest episode, the members of the Sakamoto family took a visit to the nearby bathhouse to rejuvenate themselves, only get get ambushed by a third-rate assassin over there.

2. Sakamoto Days Episode 10 Recap
Episode 9 of Sakamoto Days started out with everyone in the Sakamoto household making a visit to the bathhouse. Shin was exhausted after working hard for several days, so his esper abilities weren’t in ambient conditions. It also seemed to be Shin’s first visit to a bathhouse, which had him really excited during the whole visit, which made it hard for him to notice the hitman in the bathhouse. The man was clearly no threat to Sakamoto, as he was only a third-rate assassin who got really excited after seeing the man in the bounty show up at his bathhouse.
The hitman employed various methods to try and kill Sakamoto. He increased the streaming pressure in the hot tub, which caused Shin to blast away and get injured, but Sakamoto held on and found the pressure to be just right for a massage. He increased the temperature in the sauna to try and kill Sakamoto with the heat, but Sakamoto was just fine. He even lowered the temperature in the cold bath and froze the water, but Sakamoto was unphased. The same couldn’t be said about Shin, though, as he passed out after the hitman’s repeated attempts to assassinate Sakamoto. He finally understood that Sakamoto just couldn’t be killed by someone as inept as himself, and he gave up on the task entirely.
The next day, when Sakamoto, Shin, and Lu were taking a break in a nearby cafe, they were ambushed by members of the mafia who wanted Lu to come back to their organization to be their leader. Lu obviously rejected the offer, as she was way more comfortable with her current lifestyle and found her place in Sakamoto’s household. However, the man, Lu Wutang, the consigliere of Lu’s mafia organization, was rather persistent. During his attempt to convince Lu to join the organization, his perverted self started to show, and everyone realized that he used to stalk Lu for a very long time.
Wutang finally asked them to compete with them and let the winner of the competition have Lu. They objected to this proposition, as it would be way easier for them to crush the mafia members on the spot. Lu, however, accepted their challenge as the wager was too sweet for Sakamoto. If they were to win, Wutang would reveal the person who placed the bounty on Sakamoto. Lu wanted to feel like contributing something to Sakamoto, as she felt she was being looked after, so she accepted their challenge, and they headed to a casino where the competition was to take place.
3. What To Expect In Episode 11 of Sakamoto Days?
Sakamoto’s group is in a predicament, as neither Sakamoto nor Shin knows how to gamble. Although Wutang isn’t good at fighting, he’s really good at wagering, so Shin’s ability to read minds really doesn’t give him an edge in the competition. Wutang will likely rake in a ton of money as he gambles through the casino, and Sakamoto’s group will have to improvise by some methods to try and get more money than Wutang before their time runs out.
We can expect Lu to contribute a lot in the next episode of Sakamoto Days, as she probably knows a lot more about casinos, considering her family background. As for how they’ll win the competition, we couldn’t possibly predict it, considering how wild and out-of-pocket our main characters are.
