After the staggering revelations this week, Riverdale will return with another buffet of emotions, drama, music, and suspense on August 2 with its next episode, ‘A Different Kind of Cat.’

Yes, she is back in town and is hell-bent on bedazzling everyone by screening her latest film at Babylonium, a club owned by Veronica, Kevin, and Clay. The trailer also suggests that Josie will perform some of her songs live on stage.
However, how she will fit in with her old friends and foes remains a question. Will she rekindle her romance with Clay? Finally, who is the mysterious stalker following her?

Let’s talk a little about the painting destruction fiasco. Chery and Toni have been taking bullet after bullet from their parents, who never seem to accept their lifestyle. In episode 16, Penelope destroys Cheryl’s painting of Toni, which is a sketch of one of their photoshoots.
Cheryl will surely ask Toni to get back at Penelope and Hiram for this. How will they ruin their parents’ lives? And what effect will it have on their chemistry?

In episode 16, Julian acquires a stag film and invites his friends to watch it, but Betty intervenes when she recognizes her sister Polly is in the film! She contacts Polly, who reveals that she is now a striptease artist.
Polly visits Riverdale to reconnect with Betty and Veronica and confides that she is engaged and plans to do a show at the Babylonium, which makes Alice uncomfortable.
Meanwhile, Jughead learns that Dr. Werthers is trying to censor comics and joins Mr. Fieldstone in opposing him. He fails to do that but ends up kissing Veronica instead.
Archie and Reggie, influenced by the Beat movement and “Howl,” seek another stag film but end up with a wrestling movie, which makes them doubt their sexuality.
Elsewhere, Betty imagines Polly as herself at the show, advising her to follow her own path, and confronts Alice the next day.
Meanwhile, Cheryl and Toni do a photoshoot, and Cheryl paints one of their pictures, but Penelope finds and destroys it. After discovering this, Cheryl asks Toni to help her take down her parents.
