Capcom Announces Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways DLC Release Date

While the Resident Evil 4 remake was greatly appreciated for its improved graphics and more, many felt that the game was lacking in terms of quality gameplay content. Thankfully, the developers have figured out a solution for this fiasco, and it is one to watch out for!

Capcom has officially announced the release date for Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways which is launching next week on September 21st. A few days prior to its launch, Capcom will be releasing a gameplay trailer for Separate Ways on September 18th.

The new Separate Ways DLC will stick to the original plotline where we follow Ada Wong and see a whole new perspective through her eyes. The timeline occurs parallel to the main story in Resident Evil 4. While Leon is caught up trying to rescue Ashley, Ada is tasked with eliminating an evil threat looming over her.

The upcoming expansion features a grappling gun which can be used to travel, take down enemies from afar and launch a melee attack. Players will get to enjoy a much more thrilling and fast-paced gameplay in Separate Ways.

It will introduce Ada Wong and Albert Wesker as playable characters. Players can enjoy this update without purchasing the Separate Ways DLC.

While the base game does feature a few changes, it mostly sticks to the original storyline. It remains to be seen how faithful, the DLC Separate Ways, is to the original.
