On his balcony, Kazuya waits for Chizuru to return her gift the morning after giving it to her. A thousand negative thoughts run through his mind as he fears Chizuru may not have liked the gift.
The moment Chizuru finally reaches the balcony, she thanks him for the present but also points out that it appears to be a gift from a grandfather rather than a friend.
Trying to defend himself, Kazuya argues that he just wanted to get her something to help her relax. Chizuru appears to appreciate his efforts and is not disappointed at all. While Kazuya has already clarified in the note that they did not have sex, he uses the opportunity to mention Ruka again.

Throughout the night, he drinks glass after glass of alcohol. He remains conscious of his actions despite being drunk – at least in front of his friends. Chizuru’s friend removes her glasses during the party, stating that she will look more beautiful without them.
There is a brief feeling of being exposed to Chizuru and Kazuya. While hiding her face, Chizuru quickly puts back on her glasses. The duo waits for a response.
Chizuru looks like an actress by this point since everyone is so drunk. Kazuya’s friends fail to notice that they are sitting with a friend’s girlfriend, even when her name and birth date are revealed. Chizuru provides care to Kazuya later that night when he reaches his apartment very hungover.
