In this chapter, the Shi Ba Shou army went on the back foot as the Ousen army came at it from all sides. Sou’Ou, Denrimi, and Akou all came in for Ousen’s aid, putting extra pressure on Shi Ba Shou’s army.
Kansaro left Shiryou to die as a sign of respect. He, too, moved ahead to aid Shi Ba Shou. Ousen analyzed the whole battle situation and claimed that Riboku would fail this time.

I. Shi Ba Shou’s Trouble
As we look at the situation right now, the battlefield has turned into a big mess, and Shi Ba Shou seems to be in big trouble. I wonder how he will fight back in the given situation.
Maybe Kansaro’s aid will help ease the pressure, but the number of commanders on him is greater than Kansaro and Shi Ba Shou can handle alone.

Kansaro refuses, claiming that she has his highest respect for killing his best friend and will leave her to succumb to the injuries she received from Ji Aga.
Ousen analyzes the situation and deduces that despite assuming he is being pushed into a corner, the win probability for both armies is fifty-fifty. He thoroughly goes through what might happen next on the battlefield.
He admits that he underestimated the strength of Shi Ba Shou’s army. If Zhao loses Shi Ba Shou, Riboku will be the next one to go down because his other major generals are fighting the Yo Tan Wa army.
While he is lost in his thoughts, Akou and his army break through the enemy line and hurry to Ousen’s aid. Gakushou is chasing Akou while his army fails to keep Akou’s army from coming to their commander’s aid.
Gakushou regrets underestimating Akou. Seeing Akou’s invasion, the Ousen army morale gets boosted. Sou’Ou finds breaking through the Shi Ba Shou’s army’s defense hard.
Denrimi army comes to his aid. Denrimi tells his army to act as a shield and help Sou’Ou move ahead. With the Qin army moving in from all sides, Ousen believes that Riboku’s predictions will fail this time.
Riboku looks at the situation from afar when he learns that some part of the Yo Tan Wa army has made its way to the Hango castle.
