Princess Principal: Crown Handler Part 1 was slated to be released in April 2020 but later rescheduled due to Covid-19 pandemic situation. Part 1 has finally hit the theater screens on 11th February.
But, before we fans could even annoy the production team about news on Part 2, they decided to drop it while Part 1 is still fresh in our minds.
According to Princess Principal’s official website, Princess Principal Crown Handler Part 2 is getting a Fall 2021 release. More details about Part 2 will be released later.

The movies focus on team Shirohato, a secret organization sent to spy on the Royals. But, afraid of team Shirohato turning as double agents, the Organization assigns them to report to a man named Bishop.
The story will slowly unfold part by part and we’ll soon find the answer to Bishop’s true identity.

Princess Principal is a Japanese anime television series produced by Studio 3Hz and Actas.
The series was directed by Masaki Tachibana and written by Ichirō Ōkouchi, with original character designs by Kouhaku Kuroboshi and Yukie Akiya, and music by Yuki Kajiura. The series aired from July to September 2017.
A six parted film series has been planned by Actas with Film 1 being released in February 11, 2021. Film 2 is slated for a Fall 2021 release.
Set in the 19th century, the film revolves around Ange, Dorothy & Chise. Princess Principal Crown Handler Part 1 takes place after the events of the canon story released in 2017.
