Episode 6 Recap
Kawai and Fuji are getting ready to go to a mixer, but Kawai can’t decide what clothes she should wear. So, Fuji helps her with clothes and make-up. As they arrive at the tavern, they see Minamoto and Yamada occupying one of the cubicles.
Fuji drags Minamoto away from the cute nurses and asks him to leave. Minamoto says no can do. The walls are thin, so each party hears the other tell outrageous lies about their jobs.
They’re having a more-or-less nice time, but soon they hear police sirens blaring in their vicinity. Fuji says any minute now, they’ll be called to work, and so the four of them suck it up and leave their dates who end up going to the karaoke together.
Next, we see Minamoto and his colleagues going to their superior, looking all important. Fuji takes Kawai to their room, where they eavesdrop on their conversation. Their boss gives them a dressing down about accidents caused by their official vehicles.
Maki and Sgt. Nasu are exempted from this since they never break traffic rules. A sudden call comes in about an old man threatening people with an edged weapon in the countryside. Fuji and Minamoto chase each other to the location, but their partners have been switched in the commotion.
In the end, it turns out the one who had reported the crime was mistaken. It was just a sickle in his hand for farming. Maki and Nasu are the first ones to reach and resolve this situation.
