Police in a Pod Episode 10: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Episode 9 of Police in a Pod starts with the Police practicing martial arts at the dojo. None of them want to do it, and an official who’s about to retire asks to be spared from arrest-techniques training.

Fuji wants to use this chance not to train. For this, she speaks like a 1940’s village woman who hasn’t had anything to eat for days. She asks how they can treat the women like this. The elderly and the women deserve better.

Minamoto doesn’t like her playing the woman card, so he talks about his problems with training. Will Minamoto get off work with his crocodile tears?

Here are the latest updates.

Poor female employees of Machiyama, they have to do every bit of the training and work and yet keep getting sidelined as policewomen by most other male colleagues. Sigh.

All police officials are seen practicing at the dojo even though they hate it. After the warm-up, the captain asks them to practice their arrest techniques. An elderly police officer asks if he can be spared the arrest techniques training. He’s almost sixty and would be retiring soon.

Fuji asks to be let off training because she’s a hungry and tired woman. She even ropes Kawai into her act. Following this, Minamoto and Yamada ask to be spared as well. The captain doesn’t let anyone off.

The captain asks Minamoto, Yamada, and Kawai are asked to pretend-arrest a criminal with a knife, with him playing the criminal. No one wants to go against him, so Kawai is made the scapegoat and is tasked with taking away the criminal’s weapon. All of them fight badly.

At the night shift, the Machiyama police box keeps getting odd reports. Someone reports a UFO sighting that needs to be checked out. A middle-aged woman calls for Minamoto but gets a visit from Fuji and Kawai instead.

A report comes in saying a man called Sakamoto Taro is about to commit suicide. He’s well known among the police for such threats when he gets drunk. Fuji and Kawai ask him to get sober and quit thinking about suicide, or they’ll call his mom.

Sakamoto gets even more than drunk and calls again. He’s let off with a warning. They get another call, and this time they find that his doors are locked, and his lights are turned off. Kawai says they should leave, but Fuji breaks in and finds him hanging from a rope.

They save him, and he’s taken to the hospital. Fuji indeed calls his mother. Thankfully he’s alive, and Kawai dreads to think what could’ve happened had they left like Kawai suggested.
