The fight between Satoshi and Dande didn’t begin in episode 128 of Pokemon 2019, titled “Climax! Eve of the Finals, Satoshi VS Dande!!.”
Well, it was another time waste Recap episode. They have been doing many of these kinds of recap episodes, which has gotten annoying at this point. Nothing of any worth happened here.
It was basically a description of every pokemon that will fight in the final battle, plus the recap of what has happened all this time. The first half was dedicated to recapping the semifinals, and the second half to the pokemons of Dande and Satoshi. A complete waste of time.

Episode 129 Speculation
The final fight will hopefully begin in episode 129 of Pokemon 2019, titled “The Final I: Torrent.”
They should have started with the final already, but after a lot of beating around the bush, we are finally here. Fans a very excited and thrilled to see Satoshi become the world champion.
It’s the final, so it will be bound to go on for quite a few episodes. Dande will probably overwhelm Satoshi for most of the first episode, given how experienced Dande is. It won’t take time for Satoshi to fight back.
It will be interesting to see what we know will eventually happen anyway.

Episode 128 Recap
The episode starts with the breaking news about the beginning of the final match. The match will begin the next day, and everyone is excited to see what will happen in this battle between the former world champion and a new trainer who has gone up the ranks pretty fast.
Before the match starts, the news features a recap of what has undergone in the semifinals. The first semifinal was between Dande and Carne. Their battle was nothing less than epic.
Both fought furiously, refusing to give up till their last breath. However, after a long struggle, Dande managed to win the match. Carne happily accepted her defeat.
The next semifinal was between Shirona and Satoshi. Shirona gave Satoshi a run for his money with her powerful pokemons. She dominated the match for most of its part.
Satoshi struggled to stand a chance against her. She even defeated Pikachu. However, he has plot armor since he is the anime’s protagonist, which helps him fight back and come to equal terms, ultimately defeating her with Lucario doing all the work.
The news is interrupted by a reveal that Shirona is not retiring. Everyone is happy to hear that the great trainer is still in the game.
We then move on to the pokemons of the finalists, Dande and Satoshi. Pokemons like Lucario, Gengar, Dragonite, Darcovish, and Sirfetch’d back Satoshi, with Pikachu being his ultimate partner.
Dande is backed by pokemons like Charizard, Dragapult, Cinderace, Haxorus, Aegislash, and Seismitoad. The fight looks tough.
We also learned that there was once an unofficial watch between Satoshi and Dande (as if we didn’t know about that).
The excitement is beyond description, as it will be the battle of the century.
