The Semi-final battle between Satoshi and Shirona began in episode 123 of Pokemon 2019, titled “The Semifinals II- Bedazzle!”
Shirona started strong and showed everyone why she was number two in the world ranking. Satoshi was helpless in front of her mysterious pokemon. Her intelligent moves didn’t let Satoshi get the upper hand.
The fight will continue in the next episode. Things are looking terrible for Satoshi. He did, however, make a comeback with the help of Pikachu and defeat Tritodon.

Episode 124 Speculation
It’s time for the semifinals in episode 124 of Pokemon 2019, titled “The Semifinals III- Valor.”
The battle is far from being over as it will be a long 6v6 fight. It has only just begun, and there is much more to come. The semi-final is a tough hurdle for Satoshi, and it won’t be easy for him to win against Shirona.
With Pikachu gone, it will be very tough for Satoshi to make a comeback. We finally have a battle where there are chances of Satoshi getting defeated. I am super interested in seeing what he will do to get over Shirona.

Episode 123 Recap
Everyone is excited as the match between Satoshi and Shirona begins. Shirona sends in Mikaruge, whereas Satoshi sents Kairyu to battle first. It is a 6v6 battle, and both of them will send six pokemons to fight one on one.
Everyone is shocked to see the mysterious pokemon Mikaruge. Its surprise attack catches Kairyu off-guard and ultimately leads to his defeat. Shirona returns Mikaruge after the win, shocking Satoshi and the audience.
Satoshi sends Ganger next. Shirona sends Roserade. Roserade’s attack doesn’t have much effect on Ganger. However, both of them take some damage. Once again, Shirona calls Roserade back and sends in Mikaruge again.
Ganger somehow tries to block its attacks but ultimately succumbs to the wounds and is unable to fight. Shirona returns Mikaruge. To turn the tide, Satoshi sends Pikachu to fight next. Shirona sends Togekiss.
Togekiss and Pikachu’s fight doesn’t last long as Shirona calls Togekiss back and sends in Tritodon. Tritodon doesn’t get affected by electric attacks. However, Satoshi’s brilliant tactic and coordination with Pikachu lead to their first win defeating Tritodon.
Shirona sends Mikharuge for the third time. This time, however, Satoshi has some plans to block its attacks. Pikachu’s offensive attacks start giving some damage to Mikaruge, and it looks like the mysterious pokemon is finally defeated.
However, things are not how they look as a sudden dark wave emerges out of Mikaruge and absorbs Pikachu’s powers, rendering him unable to fight. It’s a double knockout strategy used by Shirona.
Satoshi is now cornered as he has lost three out of six pokemons, whereas Shirona still has four of her left. Satoshi is not looking good, as the battle will continue in the next episode.
