Satoshi spent a day with Dande in episode 100 of Pokemon 2019 titled “Up Close! Dande’s Special Training.”
Dande defeats 7th place Ohba in a fierce battle. He offers Satoshi to train with him, to which Satoshi readily agrees. They set out on the train, which is more like an adventure as they have lots of fun and meet some pokemons.
Gou met Sonia, and they too searched for some rare pokemons. Sonia also told a secret about Dande to Gou, which surprised him.
Dande isn’t like his public image and is a whole different person out of the championship. We learned a lot about Dande via Sonia and came to know him better.

Episode 100 Speculations
We will meet Bacchinkey, who is evolved Sarunori, in episode 101 of Pokemon 2019 titled, “The One Stick Bacchinkey!”
The next episode is most probably going to be a filler one. It might bring in some necessary development for Sarunori, and we might get to see him doing some action. Fans hope to see Sarunori’s evolution, but who knows what will happen.
We saw our cute little Sarunori crying and fighting for a stick. Although the next episode is filler, looking at the new opening, we can expect some characters to return and see them in action again. Pokemon is going to get a lot more exciting in the coming episodes.

Episode 100 Recap
Satoshi had to go somewhere with Gou but woke up late. He comes to know that Dande is having a match at that time and rushes towards the stadium. There, Dande’s Lizardon is fighting with 7th place Ohba’s Goukazaru. Goukazaru gives a tough fight but is ultimately defeated by Lizardon.
After the match, Satoshi meets Dande, and Dande offers him to join in his training for the day. Satoshi gets excited and immediately accepts the offer. He later informs Gou that he will train with Dande and return after 3 hours. Gou decides to catch some rare pokemons in the meantime.
At that time, Sonia shows up doing some fieldwork. She surveys the power spots in the wild area. Gou tells her that he is out searching for some Galar pokemon. Sonia tells him that she knows a place where they will find plenty of pokemon. Gou is scared of going with her in the car, but she forces him to go together.
Dande has to train by the sea. Unfortunately, he is terrible with directions and ends up in the forest, but he decides to train anyway, bringing out Lizardon and flying away with Satoshi.
Sonia tells Gou that no matter how Dande looks, he has never reached from one place to another without any incident. Gou is quite surprised to know this.
Sonia further tells him that Dande is nothing like his public image of being a charismatic hero. While talking, they reach their destination. Dande is training with Lizardon.
While high up in the air, he calls back Lizardon and starts falling down. He brings out Drapult just at the right moment and slowly lands near some Wooloo.
Gou is very curious to know about Dande’s personality. She tells him that he is like a big kid who freaks out whenever he sees a pokemon, something Gou finds similar to Satoshi. Since he was a kid, Dande never had any friends and was always alone.
He was always busy helping out in his house and taking care of his little brother. She was his only close friend, but everything changed when he met Hitokage one day.
After learning how to battle with pokemons, his life has completely changed, and now he has lots of friends and rivals. Pokemons have expanded his world and helped him grow. On the other hand, Satoshi and Dande notice some Drameshiya and run after them.
While taking a rest, Satoshi asks whether this is the type of training he does, to which Dande agrees, explaining that battling, training, playing all are the same for him, and getting some exercise with pokemon is really fun.
While they are resting, some Armorgaw shows up and starts attacking Wooloo and Drameshiya. Dande is confused about why they are doing this and decides to battle them. Satoshi thinks their sudden attack has something to do with above the hill, so he starts climbing it.
Upon reaching there, he finds some Kokogara whose evolved form is Armorgaw. The Armorgaws are protecting the Kokgara from other pokemon.
Dande can calm the Armorgaws down, but one Drameshiya curiously comes close to Kokogara, which alerts one of the Armorgaws, and he returns to attack the Drameshiya.
The wind caused by his wings throws the Kokogaras in the air, but Satoshi protects them with the help of Dande, and they finally fly away to some other place.
Dande tells Satoshi he thought he had reached his limit, but after the Mugendaina incident, he realized that he had to keep training to become strong as many are stronger than him.
They return where Gou and Sonia are waiting for them. The world eagerly waits for the day these two will fight one another.
