They are amazed to see performers doing stunts with their pokemons. They notice two Evees with a boy and a girl each. The ringleader of the circus meets them, telling them to call him Ringleader.

He introduces them to the partners of the two Evees, Honoka and Billy. Honoka and Billy are rivals and think their Evee is better than the other.

The name of Honoka’s Evee is Karen, and Billy’s Evee is Rhyme. Both of them will evolve their pokemons with the help of evolution stone.

Honoka wants to use firestone to turn Karen into Booster, and Billy uses thunderstone to turn Rhyme into Thunders for their performance of the Flying Trapeze.

Unfortunately, when they were about to use the evolution stone, the stones got swapped. This results in Rhyme turning into Booster and Karen turning into Thunders. Both of them are very disappointed because of the mishap but don’t know any way out.

Ringleader tells them to swap the partners for the sake of the performance to which they agree. However, the two Evees don’t actively participate in the rehearsals because of separation from their masters. Billy and Honoka are saddened because of this, and Ringleader says that he might have to cancel the performance.

Koharu later finds the two Evees training with each other. She decides to help them, and her Evee joins them as well. Seeing their determination, Satoshi and Gou also join them with Pikachu and Sarunori.

Billy and Honoka are amazed to see their dedication to making it work out and decide to set aside their differences and work together for this performance.

On the day of the circus, they are able to pull off an enchanting performance. Everyone is pleased with how things worked out well. Honoka is ready to accept Thunders, saying it is not that bad.

Billy also thinks that Booster is not all bad, and they can work together now without any problem, thanks to the efforts of Koharu.

Satoshi, Gou, and Koharu say their goodbyes and move ahead to their next adventure.
