One Piece Manga to Enter Another Hiatus, Elbaf Arc Release Date

The One Piece manga is going bonkers this month, with all the ups and downs in the final saga. Even though chapter 1114 is a few days away from being released, spoilers revealed that the chapter will be in a different league. However, as fans were celebrating, a disappointing reveal about the manga’s next hiatus came.

The One Piece manga will enter another hiatus after the release of chapter 1114 on May 12. This hiatus will delay Chapter 1115 by almost a week.

The reason for the hiatus is unknown at this time, but Oda sensei might reveal it in the future. A famous One Piece theorist on Twitter also revealed the schedule of the next releases and spoilers.

Chapter 1112 was released after a three-week break. The previous hiatus was announced shortly after Akira Toriyama’s death, and it was the longest break for One Piece since June and July 2023, when Eiichiro Oda skipped four weeks due to his eye surgery.

During that time, One Piece had recently finished the Wano Saga and had started the Final Saga. After that, One Piece chapter 1114 was delayed alongside all the other ShonenJump manga due to Golden Week in Japan.

Chapter 1113 ended with a cliffhanger about Dr. Vegapunk’s message and the ongoing fight on Egghead Island. Chapter 1114 will carry on this and reveal more about Luffy and Dr. Vegapunk.

One Piece Hints at Elbaf Arc’s Potential Release

Another news also came by that surprised the anime fandom. One Piece finally revealed when the Straw Hats will arrive in Elbaf, home of giants.

Shōnen Jump’s merchandise release calendar for One Piece announced the release of Elbaf World Collectible Figures in November 2024. This implies that the Straw Hats will have reached Elbaf by that time.

Although there is no specific date mentioned, these figurines are expected to be available for purchase in early to mid-November. So, it might mean that the Elbaf arc will be released a few months before the merchandise’s release.

Well, One Piece fans have a lot to look forward to, and the hype is absolutely insane.
