Shaka talks about a theory that Egghead was actually an extremely old city of the past. Ohara, an island focused on archaeology, had created this theory after finding multiple documents on the Ancient Kingdom. However, Ohara found out too much and gained the attention of the World Government.
The history of the Ancient Kingdom was supposed to be erased during the 100-year Void, and the World Government ensured that no one inherited its will.

The Ancient Kingdom erased everything related to them to prevent anyone from inheriting their ideology. Shaka says that Ohara was destroyed, but its will was still inherited. The stones containing the documents of the Ancient Kingdom were called the Ponegliffs.
However, the entire island was destroyed before Ohara could tell the world the name of the Ancient Kingdom. Robin remembers her final moments with her mother and the history of Ohara. Ohara still saved many essential books for the future by dumping them in the water during the Buster Call.
Vegapunk had run into Dragon while extracting the books of Ohara. Luffy and Chopper jump around the robot, trying to find the cockpit. Eventually, Chopper assumes that the robot must be an autonomous type. Suddenly, an old man appears on the robot’s hull, slowly sinking into the metal.
Luffy saves Vegapunk, and he immediately recognizes them all. Vegapunk shows Luffy and Chopper the hover ability on the Dom shoes, helping them all start flying into the air. Luffy is incredibly excited to find such a cool mechanism on the boots.
