One Piece Episode 1091: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Episode 1090 of ‘One Piece’ is titled “A New Island! Future Island Egghead!” Near the shores of Egghead, the Sunny is attacked by a shark robot.

Luffy and Chopper fall into the sea while trying to save Bonney from the Warm Eddy. Jimbei jumps in after them to keep them all from drowning. While Jimbei retrieves Luffy, Chopper, and Bonney and swims to the surface, Sunny is missing.

After getting capsized by the robot shark, the Sunny begins sinking. However, another colossal robot appears and saves the ship.

Episode 1091 of ‘One Piece’ will be released on Saturday, January 20, 2023. It is a weekly anime, and new episodes are released every Saturday. You can watch ‘One Piece’ anime on Crunchyroll.

‘One Piece’ is not on a break this week. Episode 1091 has not been delayed and will be released on the above-stated date.

2. Episode 1091 Speculation

Now that Luffy, Chopper, Bonney, and Jimbei have washed up on the shore of Egghead, a new adventure awaits them. In the next episode, Bonney will likely explain the origins and mysteries of the island. It is said that Vegapunk’s lab is built on Egghead and is many years into the future.

Vegapunk is the greatest scientist in the world and may have created all the defenses around the island himself. The shark and the robot both have Vegapunk’s name on the side. Suspiciously, the lady who introduced herself as Dr. Vegapunk does not seem very old.

The lady may also be a robot created by Vegapunk. Regardless, Luffy and the others may run into the actual Vegapunk on the island. With Luffy’s hunger increasing, he will likely enter the island in search of food and encounter more of Vegapunk’s traps. However, with the help of Bonney, Luffy may be able to avoid Vegapunk’s defenses.

The water rises below the Sunny as a colossal shark tries to eat the ship. Jimbei narrowly manages to sail the boat outside the shark’s mouth and return to the sea. The shark is made of iron and seems like a giant robot. Jimbei jumps into the sea to save Luffy, Chopper, and Bonney.

Franky engages Sunny’s Rabbit Screw and speeds through the waves while evading the shark. However, the shark fires homing torpedoes at the ship, hitting Sunny from the bottom. Sunny turns upside down and begins sinking into the sea. 

Jimbei saves Luffy and the others and rises to the surface. The Sunny is nowhere to be found, and the shark starts firing rockets at Jimbei. Jimbei decides to escape to the bottom of the sea and evades the explosions. A different robot appears in the ocean and punches the shark.

Meanwhile, Tashigi and the Marines try to heal the children experimented on by Caesar Clown. Vice Admiral Doll asks about Helmeppo to Tashigi, but she can’t help Doll. Koby is in extreme danger on Blackbeard’s turf, and the Navy can’t easily enter the island.

Helmeppo suggests taking the Seraphim, but he is shut down. Meanwhile, Bonney, Luffy, and Jimbei dry off on the shore. Bonney thanks Luffy for helping her but assures him she is still an enemy. Bonney explains the story behind Egghead, the island of Dr.Vegapunk that is said to be in the future.

The Straw Hats wake up to see Sunny being held by a gigantic robot. The robot opens up, and a girl appears, complaining about the programming glitch. The girl introduces herself as Dr. Vegapunk and says she isn’t saving any of the pirates.
