The Straw Hats have left the Land of Wano and will sail to their next adventure. Eustass Kid and Law were sailing by their side until the waterfall, but they will part ways after that. Luffy will probably head straight for Buggy’s Island to discover what’s happening.
Moreover, Shanks had announced the search for the One Piece. This will be a significant plot development, especially coming from Shanks. The next episode will either focus on Luffy’s sail to Buggy or Shanks’s next step in capturing the ultimate treasure.
3. Recap of Episode 1085
The village of Wano is rich with celebrations as well as cultural fests. One specific play with a biwa talks about the story of Momonosuke and Kaido’s defeat. Meanwhile, Momonosuke and Yamato rush to Tokage Port to see Luffy. Since Yamato has already seen Luffy off, she decides to stay back.
While speeding through the forest, Momonosuke tries to understand why Luffy would leave without saying farewell. Momo remembers all the pain and fights that he went through with Luffy. Thanks to Luffy, Momo had grown into a proper shogun by the end of that battle.
Law and Eustass Kid set sail at the port first and announce that their truce is over. Right after, Momo rushes out into the harbor and tackles Luffy. However, instead of being angry, Momo begins crying about Luffy leaving. Momo starts begging Luffy to stay in Wano, and Luffy is reminded of Momo as a child.
Luffy gets up and signals to Usopp, who throws a massive flag at Luffy. As Luffy gets back up, he tells Momo to take the flag back to Wano. Anytime Momo flies the flag up high, the Straw Hats will help the land of Wano. The crew sets sail and waves to Momo until they’re out of view.
Nami says their destination is Hakumai, where an official port to lower ships exists. However, they run into Eustass Kid and Law, who are also heading in the same direction. Eustass Kid makes fun of them for using an official port instead of taking risks, which triggers both Luffy and Law. Both crews immediately swerve into the waterfall and take the dangerous plunge.
Meanwhile, the play continues with the story of Hiyori against the burning Orochi. Braving through the fire, Hiyori waved her fan with the Kozuki family crest and expunged the flames.
