Luffy’s fight with Kaido reaches new heights in episode 1074 of One Piece titled “I Trust Momo- Luffy’s Final Powerful Technique!”
Bouncing around with the power of Gear Five, Luffy doesn’t take any damage from Kaido’s attacks. The beast continues to throw barrages of massive lightning strikes, but the Straw Hat remains standing with the hope that all his friends are watching his back.

2. Episode 1075 Speculation
Luffy has launched an ultimate attack, a humongous fist the size of Onigashima at Kaido. He needs Momo’s help to take down the beast once and for all and calls out to him. Although he’s getting cold feet and cannot use Flame Clouds, Luffy’s trust will reignite his strength.
The next episode could end with the defeat of Kaido. Onigashima is barreling towards the village and is completely ablaze. Unless Momo and Luffy do something about it right now, the people enjoying the festival will die gruesomely.
3. Recap of Episode 1074
Onigashima is filled with flames as Luffy’s fight continues to rage on. All the Straw Hats are trapped within the destruction and can’t run or fight. Gear 5 Luffy puts his faith in his friends on the battlefield to pull through. Right now, he has no other goal but to win this fight.
Momonosuke, in dragon form, tries to conjure Flame Clouds from outside the Castle but can’t muster any strength. Twenty years ago, his mother had told him to abandon her and Hiyori in the castle fire. Momo would go into the future with Kin’emon and rebuild the Kozuki Clan.
After a painful parting of ways, he bravely saves the land of Wano. Luffy grabs lightning using Gomu Gomu no Kaminari and throws them around at light speed. Kaido barely manages to avoid them and slams Luffy away with his club, but he just bounces around.
He continues launching extremely comical yet absurdly powerful attacks one after the other, but Kaido gets angrier. Desperate to prove his Haki’s superiority, Kaido unleashes Destroyer of Death: Thunder Bagua and strikes Luffy with a massive collection of purple lightning.
Kaido transforms into Dragon Form and shoots Flame Breath at Luffy, but he’s still standing. Hyogoro and the Samurais are prepared to give their own lives for Kaido’s defeat since their families could live in peace forever afterward.
The festival continues happily in the village as they all light lanterns into the sky. Everybody’s prayers and hopes are with Luffy to take down Kaido once and for all. Hyogoro announces a new era for the Land of Wano thanks to Luffy, who throws a fist the size of Onigashima at Kaido.
