2. Recap of Chapter 1138 of One Piece

Chapter 1138 of One Piece started with the interaction between Loki and the Shanks look-alike, Shamrock. Loki asked Shamrock why he bore a resemblance to Shanks. Shamrock revealed that Shanks was his estranged twin brother, but he also didn’t seem too fond of his brother. Loki immediately started vocalizing the hate he had for Shanks and his bloodline, to which an infuriated Shamrock responded by unsheathing his sword and summoning the multi-headed dog Cerberus and setting it on the chained Loki.

Before Shamrock left the place, he hinted the fact that another Holy Knight would also be joining them later as a backup. Meanwhile, at the Aurust Castle, a debate was going on about whether it was actually Shanks who attacked the giants. Luffy refused to believe that Shanks would attack anyone, but since their appearances matched Shanks perfectly, they considered the possibility that it could be Shanks’ brother, which is accurate, but Luffy could neither refute nor accept this as Shanks never spoke of himself.

After this, the scene switched to Ripley and Franky near the Treasure Tree Adam, where Ripley showed Franky a mural carved on the tree and explained that it was basically children’s drawings from 800-900 years ago, which is the Void Century. This made Franky want to show it to Robin immediately.

Meanwhile, Robin was at The Owl Library, where she was introduced to the Harley Texts, which is the source of all the myths and legends of Elbaph. While all the other tales narrated on the warriors of Elbaph may seem to be different depending on the narrator, this scripture alone holds the truth. The chapter ended with Robin reading the Harely texts, which seemingly had a lot of children’s drawings, suggesting that it had some connection to the murals that Franky was shown.

3. Speculation For Chapter 1139 of One Piece

Chapter 1139 of One Piece will likely go more in-depth about the Harley texts since Robin was reading it at the end of the latest chapter. Franky was also seen looking at murals that had similarities to the art in the Harley texts, so we can expect the next chapter to establish some sort of connection between the two.

Elbaph is in danger now that the Holy Knights are slowly making their appearance. We have been intimated by Shamrock that another member of the Holy Knights will be joining them at Elbaph shortly, so we can expect a huge fight to break out when he does. A huge mystery that has to be addressed in the coming chapter is Loki and his status after getting stabbed by Cerberus. We may also get to know the true nature of the deal he made with Luffy.
