Nine Perfect Strangers Episode 5: Release Date and Speculation

As we prepare for Nine Perfect Strangers Episode 5 on Hulu next week, there are a number of different things to wonder about.

Take, for starters, this: Does Masha really have anywhere the control that she thinks she does over the retreat? The ominous message at the end of Episode 4 suggests not so much. We know that she’s been dosing some of the guests in secret already and now, she’s ready to up that to another level.

What are the side effects? Judging from the preview that’s available online, there could be vivid dreams, paranoia, and greater fear. Amidst it all, though, Masha claims that they “are on the precipice of something great.”

Of course, there’s a difference between Nicole Kidman’s character thinking that and everyone else agreeing.

Nine Perfect Strangers Episode 5 Speculation

Episode 5 is titled “Sweet Surrender” and could refer to a few different aspects of the storyline.

First, considering the guests are now aware that they are being regularly dosed with drugs and are relatively agreeable to it, and that Masha has once again raised their dosage, the episode title could refer to the patrons of Tranquillum House going along with the experimental treatment and putting their trust in Masha’s methods.

Of course, since they are all dealing with deep-seated emotional turmoils, we can also expect outbursts, quarrels, and moments of intense frustration and panic from the characters.

Another aspect the episode title could refer to is Masha’s mysterious would-be assailant, who has already given her multiple death threats and seems to be somewhere on the property itself.

It is possible that Masha, having been declared clinically dead once before, makes her peace with her potentially looming demise. However, this is unlikely since Masha is quite worried about the threats and doesn’t seem like the kind of person who would just give in.

Additionally, we can also look forward to seeing Delilah’s character evolve as she seems to be getting more and more distant from Masha and her treatment strategies.

Nine Perfect Strangers Episode 5 Release Date

Nine Perfect Strangers Episode 5 is scheduled to release on September 1, 2021, at 12 am ET on Hulu. The first three episodes were released simultaneously on August 18, 2021.

1. Is Nine Perfect Strangers Episode 5 on Break?

No, it is not on break. It will release on September 1, 2021. There is no delay announced yet.

Masha

The big reveal in Episode 4 comes as a shock to everyone, but interestingly enough, despite being aware of being regularly drugged by their shamanesque therapist Masha, the group decides to stay on for the ride.

Details emerge about Tony and Lars’ backstories, and we also get to see a very different side of Napoleon. However, the big mystery now surrounds the unknown person who seems to want Masha dead.

Mr. Fukuda announced the hiatus back in June through the 28th issue of Morning magazine.

The upcoming chapters will follow the cells as they deal with the menace caused by urination and diaper rash. Though for our brave cells, that’s not all; as the baby grows, the antibodies left by the mother start to vanish one by one as well.

The manga is a spinoff of the popular series Cells at Work by mangaka Akane Shimizu. It features anthropomorphized human body cells as they try their best to keep the human body healthy.

This spinoff series is quite a tribute to all the parents who had to look after these little gremlins and everyone who was once a baby.

With its family-friendly focus, the spinoff lacks some dark motifs that we saw in the original and Code Black series. But don’t be fooled; Cells at Work: Baby has all the charm, humor, and art that made the original such a hit with everyone.

Now that it is about to resume again don’t miss out on this gem of a series.

About Cells at Work!

The Cells at Work! (Hataraku Saibo) manga by Akane Shimizu was published in the Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine from January 2015 to January 2021. It was adapted into an anime series in 2018. Several spinoffs have also been launched by other artists, with one getting adapted into an anime series.

It shows the processes inside the human body from the perspective of cells. The main protagonists are a red blood cell and a white blood cell as they work every day to keep the body in working condition.

Many other cells and their daily jobs are also introduced and the threats to the body like viruses are portrayed as villains.
