The upcoming sequel project, “Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump,” will continue from where the previous season left off. After defeating Inarizaki in the spring high national tournament, Karasuno qualifies for the next round, where they will play against Nekoma.

The legendary ‘Dumpster Battle’ between the two teams shall take place once again in this “fated showdown.”

Production I.G. will be animating the film, with the talented Susumu Mitsunaka directing and writing the script alongside the previous season’s staff.

The main cast from the previous seasons will return for the upcoming ‘Haikyu!! Movie’.

‘Haikyu!!’ premiered in 2014, offering intense volleyball action and heartfelt moments. However, season 4 disappointed viewers due to poor animation, raising concerns about the potential exclusion of important manga cutscenes in the upcoming movie.

Although fans were eager for another season, ‘Haikyuu!! The Final Film’ will serve as a satisfying conclusion regardless of how it adapts the rest of the story.
