New Promotional Video of ‘Mashle’ Reveals a Dark Undertone for Season 2

From the looks of the new video, we are in store for exciting battles and multiple new characters! The fact that Mash cannot use magic has reached everyone, and now the school wants to deal with this problem by calling the Divine Visionaries.

While the first half of the video has a fun atmosphere, it instantly changes in the second part. Many students are seen getting seriously attacked, and Mash is very serious despite his expressionless demeanor.  It would be exciting to see the turn that season 2 takes.

Tomonari Tanaka is directing the anime at A-1 Pictures. Creepy Nuts is performing the opening theme song, “Bling-Bang-Bang-Born,” while Shiritsu Ebisu Chūgaku is performing the ending theme song, “Tokyo’s Way.”

Two new characters have been revealed during the event, and here’s that list.

About Mashle

Mashle: Magic and Muscles is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Kōmoto. It was launched in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine in January 2020 and ended in July 2023, with its chapters collected in 18 tankōbon volumes.

Set in a magic world, Mash Burnedead is a young man who was born without magic. In order to live a peaceful life with his adoptive grandfather, he needs to become a Divine Visionary, a title given to exceptional students from the Easton Magic Academy.

Mash goes to the magic school, despite not having any magic, and must survive by only relying on his muscles.
