Characters in manga find themselves in another world quite often and this particular genre is called isekai. A character is transported to a parallel or a different world. The protagonist has to then survive in this place and adapt to new rules. One such work is Konosuba, a light novel series by Natsume Akatsuki.
It was later adapted into manga and anime and gives a fun spin to the Isekai genre.
The official site for the new Konosuba Dungeon game by Entergram has released information about new and exciting features that have been added to the game. It is a PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch game that will be released on 27th August.
Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! ~Kibō no Meikyū Tsudoi Shi Bōkensha-tachi Plus~ is a dungeon role-playing game based on the light novel series, Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! ( KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!!).
Some new features that have been added to the game are:
- A new dungeon called “Goblins Cave.”
- New guild quests and new costumes as a reward.
- Monster encyclopedia to record the battled monsters.
- New monsters like Griffon, Ant, Goblin.
- You can learn the skills of your friends under specific conditions.
The original version of the game (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! ~Kibō no Meikyū Tsudoi Shi Bōkensha-tachi~) was released for PS4 and PS Vita in June 2019. Those who already have this version will be able to get the updated version on a 30% discount from 27th August to 30th September.
Those who get the limited edition of the game will have certain privileges like special costume (swimsuit & cheerleader) download codes for the female characters, water-resistant clear case, and a towel with the characters on it.
The game’s plot revolves around the protagonist Kazuma going on quests in dungeons to discover the power of a demon stone. It is a story styled battle game. A group can be made with different characters to defeat monsters and go through mazes.

Konosuba is a light novel series written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima. Currently, there are a total of 16 volumes of the light novel series, and 17th is to be believed to be the last one, 5 of them have been adapted in the form of anime.
