Netflix Shares Trailer for In-Anime Work of ‘Way of the Househusband’

An anime inside an anime sounds like a weird concept, but it’s done a lot because characters can be otakus too. The same goes with Miku, Tatsu’s wife in the Way of the Househusband series.

Miku is a huge fan of the in-anime show, ‘Crimecatcher Policure,’ and considering that the series is getting a second season, we should shed some light on it.

Netflix has shared a new promo video featuring the opening song of ‘Crimecatcher Policure’ for the upcoming second season of Way of the Househusband anime.

The video begins like any other magical girl anime and is a parody of Toei Animation’s famous Precure series. Even the credits mentioned in the opening are real and state ‘unofficial cooperation’ from Toei.

Besides that, the song is performed by the show’s director, Chiaki Kon, and the video even puts the airing time slot of 8:30 am JST, similar to the Precure series.

The opening introduces us to three magical girls who are high school students and fight villains and criminals to protect the people. Everything from their outfits to their mannerisms is exactly what you’d expect from a magical girl shoujo anime.

The new season will bring more chaos and adventures of an ex-yakuza being a househusband.

If you’re curious to know what happens when a mafia boss quits the life of crime after falling in love, then this is the anime that will give you the answers.

As we all know, the Way of the Househusband anime’s season 2 has been scheduled for its debut on January 1, 2023.

What a great way to begin the new year, am I right?

About The Way Of the Househusband

The Way of the Househusband is a comedy manga by Kousuke Onno. It was first serialized in February 2018 by Shinchosha and is currently ongoing. It was adapted into a Netflix anime series in 2021.

Immortal Tatsu is a retired yakuza who has chosen the life of a househusband over that of a gangster. He spotlessly finishes all household chores to support his wife, Miku.

His appearance is in stark contrast to his love for cute bentos and dogs. His run-ins with other yakuza often turn out to be a hilarious situation.
