Nanatsu no Taizai franchise is in its climax these days. With the final volume of manga scheduled for May 2020, we only have a dozen or so chapters left before the story of – Meliodas, Elizabeth, and the sins – ends.
Chapter 342 of the manga, titled “Cry of Victory,” was released recently. While the rest of the sins have united with Merlin and Arthur, the seemingly indestructible child of chaos – Cath Palug – is still a massive threat.
1. Chapter 343 Release Date & Speculation
Chapter 343 of Seven Deadly Sins will be titled “Eternal Kingdom.” There will be no chapter this week since the manga is on a one-week break. Chapter 343 will release on March 1st or 2nd. It will showcase the defeat of Cath Palug by Arthur’s plan.

3. Chapter 342 Cry of Victory Plot
Chapter kicks-off with the remains of chapter 342, Arthur is still in distress about the destruction of Camelot while Cath Palug begins regenerating. While Cath tries to put Arthur into more dismay, Meliodas begins the battle.
Something unexpected happens in the next panel, Cath is stopped mid-air by Merlin’s magic – which suspended his time for a dozen years or so. Everyone returns to their homes and lives their life happily.
The next few panels show the marriage of Meliodas and Elizabeth and that all of the sins went their own ways and are happy now! The panel that follows time skips to 3000 years, Elizabeth is about to die happily of old age, while Ban is already dead.
WAIT, WHAT? THE NIGH INVINCIBLE CATH PALUG WAS DEFEATED JUST LIKE THAT? (NO WAY!)
After the supposed “twelve years of suspension,” Palug appears again, and an enraged Meliodas goes to the fight. With the pain of losing Elizabeth, Meliodas fights Cath in confusion about what’s going on.
Suddenly, Meliodas hears the “Cry” of his comrades that they are with him and wakes up from his slumber. Nothing has happened yet. It was Cath’s magic – it showed Meliodas an “uncertain future” that may not happen.
With all the sins in the slumber, it’s up to Arthur and Meliodas to defeat this monstrosity. The final panel shows Arthur coming up with a way to defeat Cath. NEXT CHAPTER IS GOING TO BE AMAZING!

5. Seven Deadly Sins:
The Seven Deadly Sins is a fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki. The manga began being serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2012 and continues till the present, with around 39 volumes published. Studio A-1 Pictures adapted the manga into an anime in 2014 with the third season currently being produced by Studio Deen.
The Seven Deadly Sins takes place in the Kingdom of Liones’ where The Holy Knights of Brittania defeated the alleged traitors of the kingdom – The Seven Deadly Sins – during their coup.
Ten years later, the very same Holy Knights stage a coup and begin a tyrannical rule in the kingdom. They forced the third princess Elizabeth Liones to go in search of the Nanatsu no Taizai to bring back peace to the domain.
