My Hero Academia Vigilantes Ending Soon – Koichi “The Crawler” Retired

My Hero Academia’s spin-off series, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, is nearing its conclusion. 

Chapter 71, titled “Hideout,” shows Pop Step getting trapped by Villain Number 6 into a room full of dead bodies, and Koichi has no clue. The current arc has shifted focus onto Pop Step after Koichi’s retirement as The Crawler after highschool graduation.

With Koichi’s decision to retire after graduation, Pop Step had been struggling with budding romantic feelings towards him.

With Makoto also involved, Pop Step decided to take a break from this love triangle and focus on her music career. This decision puts her in touch with a mysterious manager who is later revealed to be none other than Number 6.

Upon luring her into his secret hideout, Number 6 has trapped Pop Step in a dark room full of corpses, and Koichi has no idea.

Number 6 has made several short appearances in the story. Still, with the end in sight, this may be the incident that starts off the significant Koichi v Number 6 fight.

About My Hero Academia:

My Hero Academia is a Japanese superhero manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 2014, with its chapters additionally collected in 24 tankōbon volumes as of August 2019.
