My Hero Academia Ultra Stage Sequel: The Real Hero

My Hero Academia has been a favourite fan anime since its launch in April 2016. With 70 episodes, 3 OVAs and a feature film under their belt, it looks like the next big project for the show is a new play.

My Hero Academia: The Ultra Stage tweeted out confirmation regarding their second play, titled “Honmono no Hero” (“The Real Hero”). The story will revolve around the Stain Arc. It will be hosted in Tokyo, Prince Hotel Stellar Ball from March 6 to 22, and Osaka, Umeda Arts Theater Drama City from March 27 to April 5 in 2020 with Tsuneyasu Motoyoshi as the director.

The first show was performed 16 times at The Galaxy Theatre in Tokyo and 6 times in Sankei Hall Breeze in Osaka. It was a staggering hit and sold out tickets for every single performance. The reviews for the first show were exceedingly positive, and the same is expected from the upcoming play.
