My Hero Academia Reveals Some Villains’ Jealousy Towards Stain

Hero Killer Stain was one of the few major villains in the series who was not a part of All for One’s master plan to conquer the world.

In his pursuit to take down unjust heroes, he served as an inspiration to characters such as Dabi, Himiko Toga, etc.

After the duo of Shoto and Izuku defeated him, his final words were captured on a video that went viral and helped in the growth of the League of Villains.

Recently it was made clear that there exist villains that are envious of Stain’s fame and despise him for it. Gentle Criminal and La Brava, two villains that were recently introduced, fall right into this category.

These Youtuber-like villains attempt to capture their crimes on video and upload them onto the internet for the last six years.

However, their hopes of going viral by making a strong statement are crushed every time as they are unable to hit the same benchmark Stain did. 

Gentle and Stain are both out in pursuit to strike down people they deem the scum of society. Gentle targets only those who he believes are criminals, which right now includes convenience store employees who sell expired products!

Pursuing these gag-criminals is probably why Gentle hasn’t made an impact on the internet. Still, he may just surprise us all and reach Stain’s level in the upcoming Cultural Festival arc.
