Ever since the announcement of My Hero Academia: World Heroes Mission, its hype hasn’t died down even a bit. The film is already a massive success in Japan, with record-breaking box office earnings.
World Heroes Mission did justice to its predecessors in every aspect, be it the story, animation, or characters. But since the film isn’t out yet internationally, the franchise decided to give its fans outside of Japan a little something.
My Hero Academia: World Heroes Mission anime film revealed a new PV featuring Deku and the film’s original character Rody Soul.
The PV has various wholesome scenes where Deku and Rody are seen together traveling and discussing their feelings and ambitions.
Amidst all the things going the wrong way in MHA (and in our lives for that matter), the latest PV felt more than just refreshing. It reminded me of the sheer innocence that I initially fell in love with and how far these young heroes have come.
The video also has the film’s insert song ‘Flowers’ by ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION. The song is constantly playing in the background, along with Deku and Rody’s monologue.

Kōhei Horikoshi, the creator of My Hero Academia, revealed a sample artwork for the film. The artwork will be available for a limited time from August 28th, 2021, till September 10th, 2021.
